NEW Shane Harper Album Released at TARGET

Adam Anders, world renowed music producer and creator of the hit network televison show GLEE has started a new label called Deep Well Records. The first artist to release an album on this label is Shane Harper, one of the stars of Good Luck Charlie; Disney Channel's #1 sitcom. Shane Harper's self titled album includes songs featuring his Good Luck Charlie Co-Star, Bridgit Mendler, rapper Prophet and several songs written/produced by Morgan Taylor Reid. Reid produced six songs on the album including a cover of the classic 80's hit "Your Love" by The Outfield. The album was released on February 14, 2012 at TARGET stores nationwide, it will be available February 21, 2012 on iTunes, click HERE to pre-order Shane Harper's new album.

"Simply Human" featured on FOX's HOUSE, M.D.

The title song from Morgan Taylor Reid's album Simply Human will be featured on the #1 watched show on television: HOUSE, M.D. The song "Simply Human" can be heard during Season 8, Episode 9, titled Better Half, of HOUSE, M.D. This episode airs at 9:00pm on January 23, 2012. The Patience EP released January 3, 2012

The Patience EP a new album from the artist Plug in Stereo will be released on January 3, 2012. The album includes 5 tracks, 4 of which were produced by Morgan Taylor Reid and Sean Douglas. Morgan Taylor Reid also co-wrote the new single "I Blame You" as well as two other brand new tracks titled "You're On My Mind" and "Frozen Heart."

Release of NEW South Jordan Album

Keep Calm and Carry On, the new album from the band South Jordan will be relaesed December 20, 2011. This album includes six tracks produced by Morgan Taylor Reid and CTodd Neilsen, including the single "Picking Up the Pieces" that South Jordan co-wrote with Morgan Taylor Reid. 

7LIONS' "Born to Run" Single Debuts

"Born to Run" the debut single for the band 7LIONS will be making it's debut on 11/11/11 on the new National Geographic show Extreme Expeditions. Morgan Taylor Reid not only plays keyboards for 7LIONS, but he co-writes all their music with 7LIONS lead singers Prophet and Forrest Fulmer, as well as co-produces all their music with internationally renowed record producer RedOne.

The Alternative Top 100 Songs on iTunes

After airring on the hit ABC series Grey's Anatomy, Morgan Taylor Reid's song "Where Do I Even Start?"reaches #74 on the Alternative Top 100 Songs on iTunes. "Where Do I Even Start?" is one of three songs on the Brighter EP, MTR's most recent album. Download the Brighter EP on iTunes today.

MTR on Grey's Anatomy AGAIN!!!

Morgan Taylor Reid's song "Where Do I Even Start?" will be on the hit ABC drama Grey's Anatomy on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 9pm. His heartwrenching ballad will be featured on Episode 8 entitled "Heart-Shaped Box" of Season 8 of the Grey's Anatomy series. "Where Do I Even Start?" is avaiable for purchase on iTunes.

MTR Produces NEW Twin Act: Kris&Alix

Morgan Taylor Reid is working with a brand new indie rock/singer-songwriter group called Kris&Alix. Not only are these California raised twins gorgeous, but they have the voices of angels. MTR is excited to be in his recording studio producing and writing a new EP for Kris&Alix.

"The Rabbit" in San Francisco

July 29, 2011: MTR travels north to San Francisco, CA to play a showcase with his band NOW THE RABBIT HAS THE GUN.  This indie rock band found MTR in LA after recording their self-titled album in Austin, TX with producer Dwight Baker. MTR jumped on board with the band back in October 2010; he's been playing keyboards, percussion and singing back-up vocals for them ever since.

Live @ The KING KING with 7LIONS

July 14, 2011: MTR plays live show at the KING KING in Hollywood, CA with his band 7LIONS, the newest band signed to Producer RedOne's Label 2101 Records. Reid has been playing keys for the band since 2009. This year, in collaboration withe the band's lead singers Mika "Prophet" Guillory and Forrest Fulmer, MTR has co-written 5 new songs for the band's album which he will be co-producing with RedOne.

Producing NEW Album for Plug In Stereo

July 11, 2011: MTR is back in the studio this month with Warner/Triple Crown Artist:  Plug In Stereo, producing several brand new songs for their up coming album. In collaboration with singer Trevor Dahl and songwriterSean Douglas, MTR is writing 8 songs with Plug In Stereo.

Back in the Studio with South Jordan

July 7, 2011: MTR is back in the recording studio with songwriter CTodd Nielsen writing and producing 6 brand new songs for the band South Jordan. This Nashville, TN based alternative rock band, will be making a trip out to Los Angeles to spend a week recording in MTR's studio.

Producing Universal Artist Zac Poor

June 2011: Producer Adam Anders, creator of GLEE and head of Anders Music Inc. has commissioned MTR to write and produce new songs for his artist Zac Poor. So far in collaboration with Poor, MTR had written/produced 4 songs for the up and coming artist, release date TBA.

Epic Records Songwriting Collaboration

May 4, 2011: Jake Livingston of Epic Records Rock A&R has teamed Morgan Taylor Reid up with artist Kandice Melonakos and songwriter Francisca Hall to write a song in collaboration with producer Rami Afuni. The result became a futurist pop/rock ballad called "Lightyear" (release TBA).

April 2011: Academy, Emmy, Grammy Award winning songwriter/composer Giorgio Moroder, a.k.a. "The Father of Disco," best know for his work on the soundtracks of Top Gun, Neverending Story, Flashdancce and Scarface, is currently writing new pop/dance songs for several international artists. Moroder has brought on MTR and CTodd Nielsen to produce 3 of his most recent records.

Producing NEW Epic Artist

March 2011: Kandice Melonakos is the newest artist signed to Epic Records by Jake Livingston (A&R Epic Records). Livingston being a fan of MTR, brought Reid on to write and produce a few songs for this new pop artist. Their first track, produced by Ryan Tedder's Camp, is called "Miss American Ho" written by MTR & Melonakos! Stayed tuned for the release of her first album!

December 2010: Morgan Taylor Reid's song "Stay Where You Are" from his latest album Simply Human was featured in a recent Levi's Jeans Campaign Ad. On top of buying the rights to use the song Levi's also threw in a custom made pair of jeans for MTR!

"Broken Wings" at Universal City Walk

October 2010: The World Premiere of the 7LIONS' music video "Broken Wings" was played on the Jumbo Tron Screen at CityWalk in Universal City, CA on October 16, 2010. The Video Premiere was followed by a LIVE performance on CityWalk's mainstage by Morgan Taylor Reid and his  band 7LIONS!
